Nathan is doing great today. Thank you, God. Energy and appetite back to normal, so we're feeding him like an athlete before his event. Wish you could have seen him and his sisters stomping through the fall leaves today. Sorry, no pictures, our camera isn't working now. He was "sherrif Nathan" all day, wearing his sherrif badge and Aurora P.D. ballcap.
He asked tonight, "So, if the chemo is bad and makes me feel bad, why are you wanting me to have it?" We answered with a garden/weeds/weedkiller analogy. And again, pointing him to faith in Jesus, that he can go to Him in prayer and tell Him his requests. Because Jesus said, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them, for of such is the kingdom of heaven."

Wow, you can really see how smart he is. He asks the best questions. Do they throw you for a loop? If you can explain all the issues involved with his situation to a 5 year old, you are a wise mom indeed.
Good job Mom! Honesty is the best, he 'listened' to all the lab rats that came into his room. Let him know the meds will help him this time and he will be OK. Right now he is a bit fearful + watches you closely but God will get you all through this. Remember all those babies we saw and Dr knows his stuff!
Let God 'carry' you through this time until you can stand on your own. Your family and friends back you 100% Wish I could put my arms around you this minute...
TRUST, sweetie, We all LOVE YOU!
