It's now becoming part of life to drive to Children's Hospital in the morning together. The new thing we did today was go to the very nice library they have there. We sat on the floor and read a great book called Barkis about a boy and his puppy.(One of the top 10 best books for a 5 year old boy.) Later as we were sitting in the oncology clinic painting a picture Nathan said it's actually good that "this happened" (his tumor). His reasons? We get to spend time together reading and painting; we get to go out to eat together; and he doesn't have to take a nap. We have a lot to learn from children, don't we?

Yes Darlene, we look everywhere for those blessings and He always comes through. "out of the mouths of babes"
My Dr says it's all about attitude and you've got that covered now. I'm so proud of you guys!!
We're going to be OK...
sure love you,
Sweet, SWEET, boy! I just want to scoop him up and squeeze him! I want to see the world through his eyes. I'm going to try that tomorrow, one day of finding the good in EVERYTHING.
Hi Cuz,
our prayers are with you and even though we are so far away we are there in spirit we send you our love and hugs and kisses. It's all about positive attitude.
Love Lina & the boys

It is amazing how the LORD works
EVERYTHING together for HIS good purposes, including situations that seem impossible from our perspective.
Nathan is truly walking close to HIM, to see that brightness.
Love and prayers!
That's so wonderful to hear. Only someone who's holding Jesus' hand through the tough times says something that profound. You're such an inspiration to us all Nathan!! XOXOXOX!!!!!!
Love, Aunt Nicole
That has to be one of the sweetest things I've ever heard!
We have so much to learn from our children. Thanks for sharing this story. We continue to pray for strength for you and your family.
That is sooo sweet. You are an amazing mommy. I am sure it is not easy for you and Aaron to endure this trial along side Nathan. As parents you just want to make everything OK..and yet the Lord reminds us of His plans...so humbling. These special moments will forever be with you. We pray for you guys and Nathan every night.
Such a pleasure to see your pictures and read about how well everyone is doing, especially Nathan.
Love,
JoAnne, Addison and Jim
